The story of Walking Tree
Imagine you are a tree.Would you be a Sequoia Tree?
Huge in size so people can stand in front of you and can have a picture taken with you。。。
Or you are a Palm tree in the desert so people can look at you and wonder how such a miracle can happen.
You will be the symbol of beauty facing graciously against the adversity.
Will you chose to be a death tree, having just the body without arms and hands and without the make up of leaves and flowers?
Or you will be given the choice of being a walking tree.
You will have the magic power of turning your roots into legs just for traveling time just to move from one place to another..
So you can taste the water that all trees of the world.
The water of sandy beach, dry desert, rocky mountains, and wet rice fields. You can taste the water of all the trees just in one life time of a single tree.
You can grow on one trunk of a tree , different branches,of a different tree.
On on every one of them ,you can grow a different flower a different fruit.
In January 2010 I saw that:
In fact there is a strategy that is called TREE by a writer in MIT
Mitchel Resnick
from MIT Media Laboratory wrote an article called
Thinking Like a Tree
Published in the International Journal of Computers for Mathematical Learning
• Test Randomly (send out roots in all directions)
• Evaluate (determine which roots find the best soil)
• Elect (choose which direction to move, based on the information from the roots)
What I did not know when I wanted to tell my story hidden behind a tree,
a walking tree that I imagine to be, exist in nature.
Much slower than the tree I imagined in my earlier writing
This tree can move slowly
But what in fact interest me more today it is not a walking tree be it fast or
slow walker.
What interest me the that all creatures of nature be it plants animals (humans are also
included here) follow a migratory patterns similar to the above Tree Strategy
They always look for different directions test randomly the ground
Evaluate the soil or the area
Elect if they find it good enough to stay there
I think we are not thinking like a tree
We are not a walking tree
We plants and animals are constantly moving for the sake
of Life guided by our instinct of survival
