Most of us believe If I am rich I will have a life without any problem.
Things out of our reach looks more beautiful than they are really.
As saying goes, distance will make the beloved as beautiful as Miss Universe, and will increase the feeling of love to a point to cloud the mind.
A country that is far away, but hard to get becomes a paradise in our mind.
A dreamland of our imagination. The problems we carry with us will disappear
as soon as we stepped in there.
Let us look to the rich countries, I do not want give names here, but many will find this description fit to their country as good as a tailor made jacket.
If you are living in a Rich Country:
Before you read the next line, remember exceptions exist also the chances that this
writer is wrong exist as well.
The aim is not to make a judgment and take sides nor create a controversy.
It is just a thinking exercise for all.
In those countries
You have a declining population.
You have indigenous people , (the owner of the land as they call them selves)among them have a big number of jobless who are border line jobless
people, one foot in job market and the other one is on jobless market.
If they had 4 feet, it will be probably 3. in jobless side and one in job side of the border.They will get government to sustain themselves.
How the managers(public managers)can expect that when the people are in that
situation they will marry and build a future.
You have an absolute necessity to import manpower, to work in hospital as nurses or doctors ( as local doctors prefer to work in their private medical retail shop build to treat the lifestyle diseases and organized in a way to pump health funds.
You need foreigners to collect the garbage,serve dish in restaurants, drive public transports and build your house.
I admit if I am indigenous citizen in such a country where I see no future.
I will find it hard to resist the temptation of hating foreigners.
Maybe Rich countries Managers (I mean politicians) knows
how to keep balance sheet in anything regarding of money.
But it is safe to say that they can not keep the balance in favor of future.
A country can develop just with population who are guided with a vision of future.
If this is not done.
Only the sales of pills to treat lifestyle disease will grow.
The number of local populations will decline.
That is the saddest part of this story.
As we need to keep all the populations of this world to keep growing.
Development should not carry in it the sense of being part of the endangered species, for those who are living in their ancestral homeland.
If the indigenous people will have a vision of future in their home country
they will welcome foreigners with a feeling of being masters of their present and future.
