The sound of silence

I have been living the last six months without blogging.

What is really the reason of silence?

Well it was weird.

It was busy at work.

I had to travel a lot. Visiting places like   Shandong  , Fujian,  Zhejiang  and many other places, visiting factories. For different projects as one always see many new things and feel the pulse of country

Also discover that the factory owners of the west  also coming to buy products from other factory owners in China and touching with excitement the smaller, simpler machines  that are the creation of ingenuity and simplicity of Chinese engineers.

Excited to see that the end product can be produced with less space less raw material and smaller machines and the visits ends with hugging of two.

With faces of small kids having the same toys.

And western factory bosses going back home with some better ideas on how to reshape their machines.

As here those who use day by day the machines and those who make the machines are often the same persons

The idea the user design the concept is not new but it is very exciting when this happens.

Well out of the work was also very lively six months

-Started with snow storm that paralysed places that one usually does not see snow, catching

  the annual Chinese New Year migration unprepared.

-The offense that Chinese people felt  when Olympic Flame travel around.

-The terrible earth quake that did not only cracked the earth.

-The controversy surrounding the Olympic Games

-The Security measures taken to protect China from Terrorists that also disturbed

  those who like China and do business here and believed in Teng Hsiao Ping policy

 of opening of China.As China Visa became difficult to get.

 When he said 30+ years ago in his famous speech:

By opening our windows wider to the outside world, people can learn more about other peoples and learn to make sensible judgments. Absorbing the better part of the cultures of other people to enrich ourselves is the best way to safeguard our socialist culture. So taking advantage of capitalism and stepping up economic reforms is the only way to make China strong. Closing the county to international exchanges will only keep it weak.

30 years since opening of China I can say after the long reflection

That so many westerners came here for visit and study they did not learn how to make sensible

judgments about China.

I mean some of them of course.

That China has a big population. 

And large segment of it does not have  desired level  of education,comfort, health and social protection.They need to be guided by the state authority.

Chinese did not discover yet that some people get rich most will never have this chance.

In developed countries population at large discovered this sad truth.

China also sent so many people abroad to study,work and live .They must learn their culture too.I mean some of them...

Nobody in west can make a law to forbid a person to talk badly about their presidents and kings and their rulers let alone the foreign rulers.

How a westerner can judge Chinese matters by using his own culture without learning it in the first place.

How a Chinese can judge  westerners by using their own culture.

And how it is possible to make a sensible judgments  if 30 years after opening and human exchanges and creating millions of friendships if we do not know that it is impossible to expect

humans from other cultures to behave as we do.

How in this conditions China can develop and prosper  for their large part of population if we do not keep the flame of love and respect that both China and outside world alive.

How we can be sensible,secure,developing and prosperous at the same time?

That will be the central question on which leaders will think and find the right path to guide the population with wisdom and confidence keeping the vision of future in mind.

China have this ability to do this peacefully.

Well when so many things that happened  here maybe can explain the silence in my blog.

But its in no way means nothing is happening here.

After absorbing the heath of the events, waiting for a refreshing period 

May be will write after cooling  if the sound of silence will not persist of course........
