What is wrong with Middle East?
The other day I was just thinking to take a look to traditional dances of different groups in Asia Minor, Caucasus and Middle East and Greece.
Nowadays it is easy to see how Assyrians,Chaldeans,Armenians,Azeris,Kurdish,Israelis,different Turkish Regions and Greeks and Arabs dance
Well in a click of mouse from youtube it is wonderful to watch those dances.
Well differences are there but striking similarities always keep the front line.
And below those nice songs people from different ethnic groups insult each other to pretend ownership of those dances with words for a reading eye impossible to understand and accept.
Than I think what is Middle East stretching from Asia Minor to Mesopotamia all the way to Arabian Desert.
You can not find anything before 3500 BC, as if people were not speaking singing and dancing before this date
Why in the year 3500 BC Sumerians and many different kind of people who were living in those days.They had a written language of 500 characters in wedges .Those people developed their country without worrying about defensive army.Making less developed neighbours like Akkadians who developed only the army to covet Sumerians lands and conquer it.
But history of middle east is still not much different than those days is about poor neighbours that are attacking the rich neighbours.
Then you have Amorites.
You have Hammurabi who is a famous king today as king of Amorites he wrote the first written laws and separate the priests power of ownership
of the land and let common people to own and work on those lands
And among the Gods of Natural Powers one of them was called EL which is called Elohim by Hebrews and Allah by Muslim they all accept with Christians that is the same and ONE GOD.
This gods name EL was used by Phoenicians as well as other people on those lands
Hittites were living a bit north and they also were the first one to sign a treaty of non aggression with another country which was Egypt.
Abraham was living in those lands and his tribe was traders at first and than when they moved to Canaan they became farmers shepherds growers and lived there only about hundred years.
Than climatic change made their land impossible to live on and moved to Egypt after organizing the 12 tribes.
600 years later whey were all slaves

Assyrians with their famous king Ashur could not last more than short years
Losing this time the control to Chaldeans with their King Nebuchadnezzar who sent the Jews to Babylon as captives
In fact the same people lived in those lands changing kings states as technology was developing from first wheel to smelting and Iron Arm making and Organizational skills of army
Somehow the language stayed even the number of the people who are speaking is less and less over the time
And the words EL also still living so I suppose many legends and stories in the Bible are going back to more ancient stories re adapted to the new times
All those people who are living today in area from Asia Minor to Mesopotamia till Egypt and Arabian Desert
were living often in the same country even their rulers were changing.

Since the 1890 the trend till today for those countries to be independent and they are all loosing the diversity of their social fabric.
Waves after Waves people are fleei.
While in new world in big software houses the Yemenites and Somali program writers are writing programmes, While research institutes for Middle Eastern Studies are opening and working in full steam in Australia and America, in Middle East many young people graduated from school can not find work.
The people who left enrich the America, Europe,Australia with thinking Minds while Middle East Countries becoming poorer and poorer.
There is not only birth pain.This dying process is also very painful.The only way for those countries remain is to open up to the world where a foreigner is not seen as an invader but an additional power for rebirth of those lands.So far those words may look as wishful thinking.But sometimes leaders can suddenly decide to reverse
a downhill trend.Just look to Dubai..Oh may be some of you dispute this example.How about i talk about China who open up after 1978?
What is America really?A place where all people who lost their home arrived from all over the world.What is the rising of China ?
What was all the empires in past without even one single exception.
A country where people from different places live together, not perfectly maybe, but live together.

The diversity is a power in an empire who can control the people.But in time of weakness is a time bomb for friction
That is what history shows us in both situation, of strength and weakness. The dividing line between the hell and paradise on earth is drawn on moving sand.

The last questions who were living on those lands and how they were eating dancing before the times our historians were able to record?
Probably in similar fashion as today
So the vanity to claim a cultural heritage as one people exclusive ownership can not withstand a thinking mind.
And if our world should progress for a better life
We must be humble and accept that we are a little bit like everybody else
And the common points are more than differences among the people of different cultures and religions.
